Get to know the Ranch Mackadam
Ranch Mackadam is a 25,000 m2 property near Duplje, in the Slovenian region of Gorenjska. It is located between a forest and the river Tržiška Bistrica.
Our story began in 2012, when the estate became a home to the first horse, Mack. Animals are still the core of the ranch today – four horses of the Criollo breed (Criollo Definitivo) are accompanied by a family of sheep, cats and shepherd dogs.
Initially, we were mainly concerned with
equestrian
but we quickly realised that the location was also ideal for various
social events
and
accommodation for guests
. Gradually, we built additional infrastructure, so that today the ranch can cater for outdoor events with up to 250 participants, two multi-purpose barns can host over 150 people, and accommodation for up to 50 people is also available.
